Important Details for School Test Day - Tuesday, April 13:

  • Students in grades 8, 9, 10, and 11 will be taking the PSAT 8/9, PSAT 10, or SAT with essay (gr.11).
  • Breakfast will still be available as students arrive that morning and students are strongly encouraged to eat before testing
  • Students in grades 7 and 12 will be given asynchronous assignments to complete on this day (and they will not need to come into the building). Completed work will be counted towards attendance for 4/13 for these students.
  • The juniors will be given parent permission slips (tomorrow) that must be signed and returned prior to 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday 4/13; they will then be allowed to leave after they complete the test (approximately around 1:00 p.m.)
  • Students in grades 8, 9, and 10 will be fed lunch (which could run a bit later) and still be expected to attend their afternoon classes. (Their test takes around 3 - 3 ½ hours.)
  • Pencils and calculators will be needed on this test; students should bring their own if they can, but additional pencils and calculators are available for all students who need them.
  • No cell phones are allowed during testing; students should leave them in their lockers or at home, or they will be collected for the morning.
  • Please call the office if your child is unable to attend school this day; there are established make-up test dates/windows.
