students in photo with a cow

Menominee Jr/Sr High School's Introduction to Health Occupations  class led by instructor Leslie Johnson recently finished the year learning about veterinary careers.  Activities included bathing, grooming, and assessing puppies.  They wrapped up the chapter and the year with a 2 day old calf visiting. the class on the track.   Students were able to assess the calf; he was learning how to feed on a bottle and assess the umbilical cord that was still attached.  While they  were outside with the activity, the  students asked if they could invite the kids from Central to come and see the calf.  Both the HS students and the little ones had a great time!
